Nursery

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above,"

Parents can have peace of mind while they attend one of the adult Bible classes or any of the services. Nursery is provided for newborns through two years old. Our ladies are “volunteers” in the nursery and are never forced to serve in what is truly a ministry to you. This ensures that these workers will provide the best possible care for your child. Placing your child in the nursery is never mandatory, however it is strongly encouraged so that you and those around you may focus, undistracted, on the teaching and preaching of the Word of God and enjoy much deserved fellowship with other believers.

Children's Ministry

"Suffer little children, and forbid them not to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." ~ Matt 19:14

It is amazing how much your child will learn in these settings specifically tailored for children from three years old to fifth-grade. This includes age appropriate Sunday School classes and Children's Church. They will come home singing new songs, quoting verses they have memorized, displaying their crafts, and sharing with you important truths they are learning from the Bible. They will learn things like the importance of obedience, being kind, sharing, and even more important truths, like who Jesus is, and the fact that God loves them and made them for a unique purpose. The teachers and workers are trained, dedicated, compassionate, and excited to be a small part of the life of your child.

Bus Ministry

"Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest." ~ John 4:35b

Each week, our buses go out to the Towns County community to pick up boys and girls for church services.


Here, they learn about God and how much He loves them. Calvary Baptist Church strives to train boys and girls to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. Specials treats each Sunday and lunches are provided for bus riders once a month.

Children must be at least 5 years old, or have a guardian above the age of 18 with them, to ride the church bus.


Master Clubs

Training kids to serve the Master

Master Club is for ages 3 up to 6th graders! Your kiddos will sing songs, play fun games, and most of all, learn Bible stories and verses! We believe in training our young ones to serve the Master above all else. When your child memorizes verses and complete age apropriate "projects" they EARN badges to go onto their vests, which makes learning about God that much more fun for them!


Come and join us on a Wednesday evening at 6:30pm for the kids and adult Bible study at 7pm!


Youth Ministry

"Let no man despise thy youth but be thou an example of the  believers..." ~ 1 Timothy 4:12
Our teenagers are an active and exciting group of young people who love the Lord. We combine the middle school and high school groups together while understanding their unique differences. The teenage years can be confusing, difficult, and challenging! But they can also be awesome! Through Sunday classes, activities, summer teen camp, retreats, and programs, the teens at Calvary are challenged and equipped to live for Christ while they are in their youth. We do everything within our power to provide the Bible-based wisdom that teens need, combined with the friendly atmosphere that teens enjoy!

Adults

"With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding."
~ Job 12:12

Although we firmly believe in the home as a complete family unit in God’s eyes, we also recognize the challenges that both men and women face and the individual and unique care that each gender requires. Because of this we offer specific opportunities to meet those needs.

The world is in great need of good men—godly men! Your family longs for loving leadership that flows from a Christ-like heart. Whether you are single or married, a young man or a senior, you will find strength and encouragement through the men’s ministries of Calvary. We enjoy multiple activities throughout the year geared directly toward strengthening men.

Ladies, regardless of your age or background, there is a place for you. You will be encouraged spiritually, meet new friends and receive loving care. You can find the perfect fit in any of our ladies activities which range from quarterly Ladies Nights Out, or the occasional gathering.
